let’s talk payment plans: what they are and why i offer them| oceanside, california boudoir photographer

The number one thing I hear when someone reaches out for a session is: “It’s not in my budget”, “I can’t afford it”, “I didn’t realize boudoir was so expensive” etc. it can be hard to believe that you deserve to spend any kind of money on yourself, let alone that kind of money on those kind of photos. but believe me, you deserve it.

First and foremost, let’s dive deeper into why boudoir is an investment and why the best of the best photographers charge about that same amount for a boudoir experience with them.

A boudoir experience with a seasoned and experienced boudoir photographer should and will cost you anywhere from $1,000- $5,000 depending on a few things:

  1. How long your session is

  2. Where your session is (do they have a studio of their own or are they renting out a safe and secure shoot space /studio?

  3. What kinds of product do they offer? Do they offer high quality albums, prints?

  4. How long have they been shooting for / in business?

  5. Are they a high-volume boudoir “studio”- meaning, they photograph 5-10 people a day? <—- this is a red flag by the way. Or are you shooting with the same photographer that you see on their website / instagram and all other social feeds, meaning you know who you are hiring from start to finish?

These are just a few things to consider when looking for a boudoir photographer and why a boudoir session is such an investment. A photographer running a legal business, charges an amount that allows them to not only run said business, but to support themselves, feed their families, invest in their continued education, etc.

Boudoir with the right photographer is most definitely an investment, and that’s a fact!

BUT - luckily for you, I have good news.

Most photographers, myself included, offer flexible in-house payment plans.

But what does that mean?

For me, It’s important that I charge appropriately for the work I do and the truly empowering and invested services I offer my clients. I talk about it all the time; this isn’t just. a boudoir session. I am emotionally and mentally holding space for my wonderful clients to see and celebrate themselves in whatever way feels incredible to them.

To that point, I also want to make sure I am as inclusive and accessible as possible. This is why I offer flexible, in-house payment plans.

This means, you choose the product of your dreams and we split it into a total amount of payments that works for you and your lifestyle.

Your first payment is made on the session day

& the remaining payments draft bi-weekly after that.

Need a different payment schedule? Reach out and let me know!

We can definitely figure out what works to meet both our needs.

Once your final payment is made, I then begin editing your beautiful collection of images.

All forms of payment are welcome and accepted

Yes, that means cash, credit cards, check, whatever. We aim to make this easy, flexible, and fun for you.

Ready to book?

The only thing due to reserve your session date is the session fee of $350.

Yupp! That’s it.

Let’s book it baby!
